[it]MF 2021 continues the series of IT MANAGEMENT FORUM (ITMF) events that Open Systems Publications has been holding since 2004. During this time, a community of IT managers has formed around ITMF, interested in constantly improving their competencies in IT service management, in mastering the most modern approaches to IT management.

In 2021, we are expanding the agenda and changing the brand of the forum. At [it]MF 2021 we are waiting for a new audience, but we hope that the forum agenda will not lose its relevance for the regular participants of ITMF.

Digital and IT Strategy

Simply defined, strategy is how you are not like others. It's about how you position yourself in the market and how you do things, such that you differentiate yourself from the competition. Strategy can be planned but it can also emerge over time as a pattern of decisions. Strategic decisions are usually expensive to reverse than decisions in operations, and are therefore for the longer term.
The ITIL 4 Digital and IT Strategy book explores the key concepts for the strategic application of technology. It describes the steps in the strategy journey, together with the required capabilities.

Mr Kaimar Karu, has been working at the intersection of technology, policy-making, and business management, most recently as the Minister of Foreign Trade and Information Technology of the Republic of Estonia. Prior to taking office in November 2019, Mr Karu was living in London, UK, running a consultancy business focusing on strategy and decision-making in complex environments. This role was preceded by a global role of the Head of Product Strategy and Development for AXELOS, a joint venture with the UK Cabinet Office and Capita plc, managing the Global Best Practice product portfolio that includes the ITIL framework for IT Service Management and the PRINCE2 method for Project Management. His successful career in the world of technology includes both specialist and managerial positions at various startups and international technology companies, e.g. Skype, Epicor, and Oracle. Mr Karu is a published author and a frequent keynote speaker at international technology events. He holds a Master's degree in Philosophy.
The foundations of digital governance

The key challenges that organisations and nations face when moving towards digital governance are not digital, but quite analogue in their nature. This session will explore those challenges, suggest ways of addressing them, and provide models for integrating technology into existing ways of working.

Дмитрий Дорофеев, главный архитектор, Luxms

Дмитрий – компьютерный гик с навыками программирования на многих языках. Создал десятки сайтов интернет-магазинов и мобильных приложений. Спроектировал Luxms BI. В настоящий момент фокусирется на Big Data, IoT, MPP и других современных технологиях обработки данных.
Окончил Санкт-Петербургский политехнический университет Петра Великого, прикладная математика.
Быстрая управленческая аналитика и визуализация на больших данных

Мы девятый год работаем с крупнейшими российскими предприятиями по направлению бизнес-аналитики и видим совершенно определенную тенденцию: крупным клиентам нужна не просто аналитика, а супербыстрая аналитика, которая справится с стремительно нарастающими объемами данных. Данных стало так много, что текущие аналитические системы перестали быстро их обрабатывать. И это проблема, так как любая задержка при принятии решений в современном бешеном ритме экономической машины стоит очень дорого. На традиционных BI-платформах продолжают развиваться средства self-service для исследования данных, при этом игнорируется потребность управленцев, принимающих решения, в быстрой и наглядной визуализации, а резко возросшие аналитические возможности современных СУБД не задействуются.
Мы расскажем про наш опыт построения аналитических решений на платформе собственной разработки Luxms BI, которые решают эти проблемы и обеспечивают руководителям быструю управленческую аналитику и визуализацию на данных любых объемов и интенсивности.
